Died on Tuesday 17 October 2017 at the age of 100 years, Danielle Darrieux has had a love life rich and full of twists and turns, during which time she was married three times.

Representative of the French elegance on the international, Danielle Darrieux made capsize the heart of many men during his life, but has experienced four major love stories. At age 17, the actress succumbed to the charm of the film director Henri Decoin, who directed her in The Domino Green in 1935. The young woman would become his muse and will marry her despite the 27 years that separate them. Their relationship comes to an end in 1941.

A year later, in 1942, Danielle Darrieux wife of Porfirio Rubirosa, a diplomat from the dominican. It is love at first sight. But the playboy is arrested by the gestapo. Crazy about him, the actress then agrees to turn for Continental, a German production company, for it to be released. The couple will eventually take refuge in the Haute-Savoie until the end of the war, and then divorced in 1947.

In 1948, Danielle Darrieux encounter the writer Georges Mitsinkidès through his brother Olivier. Dubious at the idea of getting married a third time, the actress accepts all the same to marry him and adopts a child with him, Mathieu. Georges Mitskindès died finally in 1991.

In 1994, Danielle Darrieux meets his last love, Jacques Jenvrin. The only man she married not. Musician 20 years her junior, he will accompany him until his death on Tuesday, 17 October 2017.
