In the polls, François Legault has wanted to minimize expectations at its balance sheet by the end of the parliamentary session, even going so far as to highlight the qualities of his opponents.
“Even if the liberals are very challenged, they are formidable opponents, it is a big machine, which is liberal, and it has not finished to see gifts election, as seen in the last few weeks on the part of the liberal Party,” commented the leader of the CAQ on Friday morning.
“So, the liberals are far from being beaten, we still have work to do, big challenges”, he added.
François Legault has also put its troops on guard against the adversary pq, third in the polls. “I think that we should not under-estimate Jean-François Lisée”, he launched.
“Politics of the bottom floor”
By the next elections, scheduled for October 2018, the leader of the CAQ expects to be the target of attacks from his opponents. Of course, one expects, in the next few months, to have shots grouped our opponents, he predicted. It’s already started.”
In fact, a few minutes earlier, the prime minister Philippe Couillard was criticized harshly the leader of the CAQ by accusing him, in English, “the politics of the bottom floor”.
Personal attacks
Asked to respond, François Legault has criticized the tone of the attacks. “The way that mr. Couillard made the policy is not as he had announced at the beginning [of his term], he said. He said that he would be respectful. He would do politics differently. We all see that this is not what he has done. And it is his choice.”
François Legault also pointed out that several proposals of the CAQ have been put in place by the government Couillard. “Why he stole all the ideas of the CAQ, if this is not good what we have to offer?”, he asked.
