SAINT-EUSTACHE – The police Department of the City of Saint-Eustache has announced that it has completed two searches in connection with several folders of arson occurring on its territory.

The investigation, which began in the wake of an upsurge of arson in the last few months, has led to the identification and the arrest, on 7 December, a couple of individuals who have committed these misdeeds.

According to police, the couple was targeted “is usually uninhabited buildings related to residential or commercial such as garage, various storage areas, and vehicles”.

The age of twenty years, the man and the woman have appeared at the palais de justice in Saint-Jérôme with multiple counts: arson, mischief, breach of conditions and possession of narcotics.
