The Crown has dropped the charges against a member of the Hells Angels and its associates in the Deymos Crew, a club-Hells Angels in the Mauricie region.
During a major strike police in may of last year, 33 people linked to outlaw motorcycle gangs were arrested in a wave of raids on the territory.
In the lot, there was Paul Magnan, the only member in good standing of the Hells Angels chapter in Trois-Rivières.
They were facing numerous charges, including gangsterism, drug trafficking and conspiracy to traffic in narcotics.
According to our information, the Crown’s evidence was sufficient, but that the staff, themselves, were perhaps not sufficient to carry out all the record within a reasonable time.
Recall that the trial of the accused arrested in operation SharQc was the subject of a stay of proceedings because of delays deemed unreasonable.
