PINCOURT | A man is dead and another was injured in “events related”, which took place in Pincourt, west of Montreal, on Sunday late afternoon.

The emergency services were first called to a residence in the impasse Hamel to 16-h.

“A wounded man was inside. It does not fear for his life,” said the spokesman of the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), Louis-Philippe Blais, at the end of the evening.

Police then found a second man was seriously injured in a car parked near the residence. It is he who subsequently died. The nature of his injuries has not been specified by the SQ.

“The two events would be connected,” said Louis-Philippe Blais without providing other explanations.

The service, major crimes will be responsible to shed light on these events.
