Tribute to Johnny Hallyday : Why Laura Smet et David Hallyday were not sitting next to Laeticia – Gala
tribute
A few days after the death of Johnny Hallyday, the public was shocked to discover that his children David and Laura were not part of the motorcade. The newspaper le point reveals today the reason.
After months of fighting his cancer of the lungs, the singer Johnny Hallyday died on December 6 in his home in Marnes-la-Coquette near paris. A few days later, close to the star, personalities and anonymous, made the tribute at a ceremony at the church of the Madeleine, in Paris. The remains of the singer, in a white coffin, went down the Champs Elysées in a hearse transparent before passing through the place de la Concorde and the Madeleine church.
If David Hallyday, son of the singer, was very close to his sister Laura, he also preferred to stay near his wife Alexandra Pastor, and their son Cameron and his ex-wife Estelle Lefebure and their two daughters, Ilona and Emma. To the church, as revealed in the journal The point David Hallyday and Laura Smet chose to gather near their respective parent, Sylvie Vartan and Nathalie Baye against the wish of Laeticia to gather around it all the children of the singer. After the tributes, arises now the question of the legacy that the star leaves in his offspring and in particular of their responsibility to preserve its image. For that, David Hallyday and Laura Smet seem to decide to be united with Laeticia, despite the tensions of the past.
