MONTREAL – The Montreal metro will be open all night from Sunday to Monday to allow people who want to celebrate in grand the arrival of the New Year to return home safely.

According to the lines, the frequency of trains will vary between 10 and 22 minutes during the night, said the Société de transport de Montréal (STM). As early as 5: 30 a.m., Monday morning, the regular service will resume at its usual frequency.

The paratransit service will also be available throughout the night from Sunday to Monday.

Recall that on the occasion of the Holiday season, until January 7, the transport is free for children of 6 to 11 years of age.
