Scientists from Vienna’s medical University have proved that fans of black humor is better developed intelligence

These people are more emotionally stable and less aggressive, reports Rus.Media.

To the black humor they put the jokes on the theme of death, injury, disability, and war.

For sample took 12 episodes of the comic book “the Black book” German author Uli Stein and gave their view 156 men and women with different education and marital status. Each were asked to rate jokes according to the criteria of novelty, appropriateness, relevance, complexity, and so on. Then they took part in the test for the level of intelligence and emotional stability, aggressiveness.

The results showed that people that prefer dark humor, higher levels of intelligence and emotional stability. Scientists say that understanding black humor is a complex task for the brain, which is solved only in the presence of a certain level of development of the mind and sensitivity to emotions.
