Apple recognized the vulnerability of their devices

This week it became known that large technology companies are trying to correct deficiencies under the code names of Meltdown and the Spectre that allow hackers to steal data, reports Rus.Media.

Apple said that it had already released some patches to fix the situation, although there is no evidence that hackers use these flaws yet.

However, the company advised users to download software only from trusted sources to avoid malware.

Mac users often think their devices and operating systems are less vulnerable to security problems than, for example, Android phones or computers at Microsoft.

However, the disadvantages of Meltdown and the Spectre have all modern computer chips manufactured by Intel and ARM. Together, these firms provide chips almost all of the world computer market.

“Amazed by all Mac and iOS devices, but now there are no data on the use of those vices that would affect the customers,” Apple said in a blog on this topic.

“These problems exist in all modern processors, and struck almost all computing devices and operating systems,” he added.

Apple says it has released the “softeners” risk vs Meltdown in his latest update for the operating systems iPhone, iPad, MacBook and iMac.

Patches against Spectre in the form of updates to the Safari web browser will be released “in coming days”.

Google and Microsoft previously said that their devices are vulnerable through these vices.
