A group of scientists from the University of California came to the conclusion that the temperature of the water in the depths of the oceans can be measured, using the noble gases krypton and argon. Experts say that the activity of the noble gases krypton and argon depends on the temperature of the water. The higher the heat, the more noticeable the activity of the gas.

So the scientists used this technique to determine the exact temperature in the depths of the oceans.
