Star TRAPPIST-1 in the constellation of Aquarius is situated at 39.5 light years from us, astronomically speaking, close. Scientists have found next to her are the seven planets, and three of them are in a zone of likely habitability.

The sun is a yellow dwarf. According to its characteristics it is very far from the TRAPPIST-1, which klassificeret as red dwarf. It’s a small and relatively cool star. TRAPPIST-1 features high, compared with the Sun activity that could interfere with the birth and maintenance of life.

A group of researchers have modeled stellar wind (outflow of matter from stars into interstellar space), analyzed the processes that can occur in the atmospheres of three potentially habitable planets. They came to the conclusion that the world for more than a billion years to keep the atmosphere suitable to sustain life.

The xenobiologists are advised to carefully interpret their findings because of the evidence of the habitability of these planets is still there.
