Juno removed the clouds of Jupiter in the Northern hemisphere 16 Dec 2017.

The craft was at a distance of 13,345 kilometers above the cloud tops of Jupiter.

“The spacecraft Juno was retired from Jupiter slightly more than one diameter of the Earth, when he managed to capture the patterns of the turbulent atmosphere of Jupiter”, — stated in the message.

The spatial scale of the images is 9.3 kilometers/pixel, said NASA.

NASA launched a probe Juno in 2011 for almost 5 years, the spacecraft reached Jupiter. The space Agency expects that Juno will remain in orbit of Jupiter, at least a few years mainly for shooting planets.
