The chain is Loblaw, despite it all, shown a little too much transparency in wanting to compensate consumers harmed by the cartel of the bread.

In effect, the address of the website where it is possible to enroll in the program to gift cards of$ 25, as proposed by the food giant to compensate the consumers, is rather telling (and quite comical in itself).

The URL contains, by chance, the word “cartel”, while the word “card” is stuck on “Loblaw”.

“This point has actually been brought to our attention. I can assure you that this was in no way intentional,” said Johanne Héroux, senior Director corporate Affairs and communications at Loblaw.

It is, somehow, a beautiful aptonyme!
