Fake driver Uber: rain of accusations against a man of Ottawa

OTTAWA | An Ottawa resident who was pretending to be a driver for Uber will have to answer a litany of accusations concerning sexual assault, fraud and theft of debit cards and credit.

The Ottawa police had recently warned the public in respect of this individual offering to renew the women, often late in the evening, “especially around the Byward market, and possibly the place of women in seemingly drunken and out of the bars or restaurants”.

Sami Hassan Khreis, 37, has finally been pinned. Particularly, he shall have to answer to a charge of sexual assault, three counts of fraud under $ 5,000, two counts of theft of credit cards and a head of property obtained by crime. It would also have broken a probation order, has been provided by press release.

Khreis will be back before the judge this Monday, while the police investigation continues in this case.
