The erotic massage salons will be more and more rare in Laval. A score of them no longer have the right to operate the City comes from restricting the location of new players to a simple quadrilateral.

In the last year, the Service de police de Laval (SPL) was able to prove by inspection that these massage parlors were offering sexual services outside the areas permitted, representing 14 industrial sectors scattered everywhere in the city. Some, also, did not comply with the regulations in place offering massage services of the hostesses fully naked.

“We are also in a long-term plan to fight sexual exploitation,” adds Alain Best, chief inspector in the criminal investigations division of the SPL. Massage parlours can be a door entry “, he noted.

Restricted area

The city council has pushed even further the cleaning, yesterday, stating that any new trade sexual (salon of erotic massage, dancing bar, shop erotic and swinger club) will now be able to install that in a small quadrilateral of the island.

Contacted by The Newspaper, two workers from massage parlors, who have lost their licence have lamented the lack of information and the speed with which the City proceeded.

One of them mentions that several players continue to operate despite the ban.

► Any sign, pole or billboard announcing a settlement of an erotic nature will be banned.

► Schools, child care centres, boarding houses and houses of room will be prohibited within the area.

► Shops of an erotic nature should not be within 30 metres of schools, daycares and houses of room on the outside of the box.
