MONTREAL – A store of fruits and vegetables has been the prey of the flames, in the night from Wednesday to Thursday, in the borough of Ahuntsic-Cartierville, Montreal.
According to preliminary information, the fire would have taken birth to 1 p.m. in the commerce For fruit fleury, located on Fleury street, near the avenue Hamel.
The fire was quickly contained by firefighters. No one was injured and no evacuation was necessary.
The cause of the fire is unknown for now. The fire department has transferred the investigation to the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).
Investigators in the fire of the SPVM will be on site in the morning in order to understand the circumstances of the fire.
