THE TUQUE | A snowmobile driver is based in a critical condition after being in collision with a tree, Friday evening, at La Tuque, in the Mauricie region.

The old man a twenty years travelling on the path 355. He would have lost control of his snowmobile and off the track before hitting a tree at around 22: 45. He had to be transported to a hospital in Trois-Rivières, a two-hour drive, and lies in a critical condition, according to sergeant Claude Denis of the Sûreté du Québec.

Two other snowmobilers were accompanying the victim. However, they have not attended the accident, said sergeant Denis.
