MONTREAL | The ex-leader of the Parti québécois, Pierre Karl Péladeau does not reject the possibility of a political comeback and is said to be “in reserve” of the Republic. This is what he said, in an interview aired on the Première chaîne de Radio-Canada, Tuesday morning.

The president of Quebecor, however, refuses to move forward on the time where he could attempt such a return.
“God only knows”, he dropped.
“We have a leader for the Parti Québécois, Jean-François Lisée. […] I leave it to my colleagues, who I greatly esteem, to do the political work”, he added.
Mr. Péladeau has recalled that his departure from politics in may 2016, “was not [his] desire, quite the contrary”. He had made this choice for his family, he is a father of two young children.
However, “things have evolved” since then, he stressed, in his interview to the public network.
“I have a shared care arrangement sanctioned by the court, and all goes well”, he explained.
His nine-year old daughter, Romy, he would have even suggested to return to the political arena.
“She told me last week : “It is necessary that you are present, it is necessary that you can go”. Now, I don’t know if I’m going to follow his advice,” said the ex-politician, laughing.
“Is that the political life is to reconcile with the family ? I think yes”, has, however, added Mr. Péladeau.
