Declared not criminally responsible for the brutal murder of a man in that it was hosted in 2011, in the west of Montreal, Sean Brennan escaped Tuesday afternoon from the Institut Philippe-Pinel, Montreal.
The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) therefore request the assistance of the public to quickly find the man, which would represent not only a danger to himself, but also for citizens.

Sean Brennan had made the headlines in 2011, when he was arrested for a hideous murder in the sector of Pointe-Claire.
He had murdered Bryan Candle of 91 strokes of the knife. Mr. Candle housed Brennan to ” troubleshoot “, reported the media at the time.
Sean Brennan had subsequently been found not criminally responsible of murder for reason of insanity and was sent to the Institut Philippe-Pinel, where he stayed until Tuesday.
The 29-year old man was seen for the last time to 13: 15. He wore a long black coat, jeans, a grey and a black sweater with short sleeves.
According to the authorities, Sean Brennan could be in the region of Montreal or in the area of Alexandria, Ontario.
“Any person who found it is asked to contact 911 immediately and do not attempt to intercept it,” said the sergente Joyce Kemp, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.
