Zoo de Saint-Édouard: three lemurs suffer frostbite

SAINT-ÉDOUARD-DE-MASKINONGÉ | agents for the protection of Wildlife have intervened Wednesday morning at the Zoo of Saint-Edouard, Saint-Édouard-de-Maskinongé, in Mauricie, in order to save three lemurs, which have suffered from frostbite.

This is a report made on the spot and an investigation has been opened to determine why the lemurs were outside.

According to the owner of the zoo, Norman Trahan, are the macaques that have managed to open a latch. This would have then allowed the lemurs to get out of their pen inside and ending up outside.

Mr. Trahan provides that it is not a question of negligence.
