The plane flew to USA from Australia on fuel from mustard oil : In the World : Vladim

The Australian airline Quantas first flight with the use of bio-fuels. This was told by British journalists.

According to media reports, the fuel is partially consisted of mustard oil. The flight went from Los Angeles to Melbourne, continued his route for 15 hours. According to correspondents, the carrier used conventional jet fuel with a slight addition of restricted substances on the basis of mustard seeds. In the end, the company has reduced carbon dioxide emissions by 7%.

This case is the first flight of the international level with the addition of biodiesel. Before the carrier was sent on Board from Australia on the fuel which 50% consisted of biodiesel.

Earlier it was reported that in London some buses will transfer biofuel from coffee grounds. On this measure, the authorities went because of the reduction in air pollution.
