SHERBROOKE | The service of custody of the family complex cooperative Virevent located in Sherbrooke, will be forced to close because it has no valid permit, to the chagrin of many parents.

About fifty children will be without the service of guard on February 7, next, which leaves little time for parents to find an alternative. They have received a notice from the ministry of the Family on the 8 January.

“We’re looking for. By what we find, we will solicit the help of grandparents, taking time off, adjust our schedule,” said a mother whose child attends the day care service, in an interview with TVA News.

“It is 50 children who are left to fend for themselves. They need to find something quickly. Some of you will find, while others are not,” added a teacher of the Virevent.

The department has decided to close the Virevent after having found that the establishment was operating without a valid licence since its opening in September 2016. “The establishment is in custody illegal. The permit must be filed before you have the responsibility of children”, commented Karl Fillion, press attaché to the minister of the Family. Luke Forton.
