Caroline Mulroney, daughter of former canadian prime minister Brian Mulroney, announced Sunday evening that it runs in the race for the leadership of the progressive conservative Party of Ontario.

Without any political experience, the lawyer of 43-year-old has expressed his intentions in a video posted Sunday night on its Twitter account.

“The people of Ontario have had enough of this liberal government. They want to change. As a mother of four children who works, I do it for the future of our children in the province. Will there any jobs here or should they look elsewhere?” she said surrounded by her family.

Its slogan is “Let” (“Let’s get it done”).

Caroline Mulroney had already been officially named in September, candidate of the progressive conservative Party of Ontario for the provincial riding of York-Simcoe, north of Toronto.

Dominant in the polls, the conservatives ontarians do not have a leader even if a provincial election takes place on 7 June next.

The chef, Patrick Brown has resigned nearly two weeks after allegations of sexual misconduct.

Christine Elliott, who was the wife of the late federal Finance minister Jim Flaherty, announced on Thursday his candidacy to lead the progressive conservative Party of Ontario. Christine Elliott has represented the electoral districts of Whitby-Ajax and Whitby-Oshawa between 2006 and 2015.

Doug Ford, the brother of the former mayor of Toronto, Rob Ford, confirmed Monday his candidacy for the post of head of this training.

The conservative mps in ontario have been elected as interim leader mpp Vic Fedeli.

The liberals, led by premier Kathleen Wynne, are in power since 2003 in this province.
