    A rare weather phenomenon was observed Tuesday evening at Seven-Islands.

    Hundreds of the citizens of the city north coast have been surprised to see columns of light rise into the sky for about an hour.

    The photos taken by Philippe Fournier, who moved to deposit snow in the city to seize this moment, clearly show the phenomenon that has caused multiple reactions of wonderment on the social networks.

    This show is produced by the reflection of light on ice crystals suspended in the air.

    The phenomenon occurs in cold weather and when there is little wind.
