SHERBROOKE | A fire broke out in a building of 45 housing units, in the night from Thursday to Friday, on 13th avenue at Sherbrooke.
All tenants have been evacuated. Among them, four have been bothered by the smoke, three of which have been transported to the CHUS to receive care.
A firefighter was also slightly bothered by the smoke.
The Red Cross was also on site.
Twenty firefighters fought the flames.
It would seem that a fire in the stove was the origin of the fire. An investigation has been opened.
13th avenue has been closed to traffic between the streets Terrill and Papineau.
