SAGUENAY – The Saguenay’s citizens are on the lookout after children were arrested by foreigners. A young boy also was targeted recently in a neighborhood of the sector Kénogami.

Mathis Belanger, age 10, was walking a bicycle on the street of Montcalm when he came to the address on the supper hour.

A man and a woman with brown hair approached him and spoke. The suspects were on board a van red. They offered sweets to the young and invited him to climb aboard their vehicle.

Mathis told what happened after the aliens were sent to him. “I did not answer and I’m gone,” said the boy who went to tell everything to his parents and then the police.

Of course, the people in the neighbourhood are worried since the news has spread like wildfire on social networks.

There are several children in the area concerned. There is also a primary school and a park.

The parents have taken advantage of this opportunity to remind their children about safety.

Police in Saguenay are aware of the situation. An investigation is underway. No suspect has been identified at the moment. Police call for caution.

    Several reports

Other similar cases have been reported in recent weeks in the Saguenay. At the end of August, a ranger would have been seen in the vicinity of a park located near the English school, Riverside, in the area of Arvida of the borough of Jonquière.

The firm Perron’s Lawyers had shared on Facebook a warning against this individual, who was reportedly seen at the edge of a car inside which, according to eyewitnesses, you could see a pooch yellow.

The event had however, not been corroborated, and no suspects had been identified.

This reporting was in addition to two other cases already reported in Saguenay, specifically in Jonquière, and to The Bay.
