A final gift to his twin

    GATINEAU | A man died of cancer a few days after you have managed to give a game room a dream to her twins.

    Marco DiMuzio, 45, has struggled against the disease for several months. He died Friday, but not without having left a beautiful memory with her twins Blake and Matteo, three and a half years.

    He wanted to transform the basement of his family’s residence in Gatineau in the games room, but he had not enough money because he could not work during treatment.

    After he had expressed his wish on Facebook, a Gatineau business, Management, GL, and volunteers have come forward and have redone the insulation, the plumbing and electricity, in addition to building a games room warm for the kids.

    The father of the family has had the chance to see the final product only a few days before his death, which occurred Friday.

    “It has suffered from the beginning to the end, for two and a half years,” says his brother Vincent DiMuzio.

    Recognizing

    The new basement family has amazed the children after the completion of the work, on 16 February.

    Marco DiMuzio was very grateful to those who have helped him realize his last wish before his death.

    He had held to thank the volunteers.

    “To see my children like that, it makes me happy. It is the most beautiful gift, ” he explained.

    The state of health of Marco DiMuzio deteriorated rapidly. As if it was the last thing that he wanted to accomplish before letting go.

    The evening of February 16, his fever rose to 104 °F. He asked his brother Vincent to bring him a poutine. It was his last meal. He was transported to the hospital shortly after, where he died on 23 February.
