    A residential building in the city centre of Montreal has been the prey of the flames Saturday morning.

    It was around 10: 10 that the authorities have been notified of a fire on Stanley street north of Sherbrooke, in the borough of Ville-Marie.

     

    Thirty firefighters fought to contain the blaze is being contested at the four-story building built around 1895 and has five dwellings, according to the property assessment roll of the City of Montreal.

    The canadian Red Cross was also present to offer his assistance.
