    MONTREAL | A 21 year-old man was injured by a weapon near the bar the Funki Munki, on the rue Sainte-Catherine est, in the borough of Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, Montreal, on Sunday morning.

    “The victim was injured at the bottom of the body, she suffered lacerations, explained Caroline Chèvrefils, the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM). It has been brought to the hospital, but we aren’t afraid for his life.”

    The assault occurred shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday morning. According to witnesses, the cause of the aggression would be an argument that has escalated between the two people.
