A man 44-year-old was attacked in his home by two suspects in Terrebonne, in the night of Sunday to Monday.
The assault occurred in a house in the boulevard Pierre-Le Gardeur, near the rue Guillaume-Beaudoin, a little after midnight, Monday.
The criminals “have forced their entry in the face of the occupier of the premises came to open to them and an altercation followed. It was struck in the head with an unidentified object. The suspect then fled into the surrounding streets,” explained the police Department inter-municipal Terrebonne/Ste-Anne-des-Plaines/Bois-des-Filion, by press release on Monday.
The victim was alone at the time of the attack. The injuries she had sustained did not put his life in danger.
The police was not able to say whether the attackers and the man assaulted knew each other.
A security perimeter was established around the house and a dog of the Sûreté du Québec was dispatched on the spot.
