SAINTE-ADELE | The man who was seriously injured Thursday evening in Sainte-Adèle, in the Laurentians, when his vehicle flipped over in a full residential area, finally succumbed to his injuries during the night of Friday.
The accident occurred at about 21: 20 a.m. to the intersection of the chemin Notre-Dame and the rue de Ronchamp.
For a reason yet unexplained, the vehicle would have made the barrels, and the driver would have been stuck in the carcass.
Investigators from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) are exploring several options, including the excessive speed, reported Ingrid Asselin, a spokesperson for the SQ.
The victim is Stephen Lavoie, 44, of Sainte-Adèle.
The intersection was closed the time to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
