MONTREAL – A man has been stabbed to death Monday night in a building unit of the borough of South-West, in Montreal. This is the second homicide to occur on the territory of the SPVM this year.

The assault occurred around 21: 30 a.m. in an apartment of the rue Paxton, near Guy street and Notre-Dame.

According to the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), the victim, a 52 year old man, was reportedly stabbed by a woman of 52 years following a conflict that has degenerated.

His death has been found on the site.

The suspect was arrested on the spot.

Investigators of the POLICE initiated an investigation in order to understand all the circumstances surrounding this murder.
