A young man made a discovery, touching on the strike at The Isle-aux-Coudres last Thursday. He found a bottle that had been thrown into the sea in which was a word touching. A family had thrown it in the river to pay tribute to a deceased close family member, “dad’s a marine”.
On the word, there was no address, no date. The publication of Pierre-Alexandre Mining on social networks has quickly been shared more than 15,000 times. In the days that followed, two people of the family concerned were contacted.
Message in the bottle in the sea
The two sisters were very touched and surprised to see that their bottle had been found so quickly. They had thrown in there two months only, at the end of may, in memory of their father.
“They were very touched by this gesture that I did and very surprised at the magnitude on the social networks. Respecting their request, I will release no other information. I have just asked the exact spot where I found the bottle, and bury the message or put it in a bottle in the sea….what I will do for them in a way very symbolic!!”, wrote the man on Facebook.
“Bon voyage dad marine to the oceans of the universe, and all my sympathies deepest sympathy to this beautiful family!”
