At the time of touching the ground, a cloud of dust emerged from the device, which was then towed to a terminal gate to let the passengers get off.

“A tyre of the plane burst during landing, and we had to return to Gatwick, has also written a traveller who was on board on his Twitter account. We are now waiting to be towed up to the door.”

This incident has also caused several delays in the arrivals at Gatwick airport as no plane could land until the flight of Air Canada to come back to earth.

This event occurs three months after an Air Canada flight had lost a wheel on takeoff at Montreal, without the driver noticing. The device had subsequently managed to ask without any problem in London.
