VICTORIALLE – An accident between two cars occurred on the boulevard Arthabaska (route 116) in Victoriaville, Tuesday, has claimed the life of a driver 62 years of age.

The victim, who was travelling in the direction of Warwick, has deviated from his lane to hit a car that was coming in the opposite direction. The driver, who was a native of Warwick, has unfortunately succumbed to his injuries, said Stéphane Tremblay, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.

The motorist in the second car, for his part, suffered minor injuries.
