Of the province’s holiday on the road of the hurricane Irma accuse Air Canada of abandoning them to their fate.

“All the planes are full. Air Canada does not send extra flights to pick us up,” complained Alexander McKenna from the Dominican Republic where he stays with his wife.

The man has tried everything to board a plane that would allow him to escape the hurricane of the century, but he found no place.

“The flights are all surbookés,” he says, without understanding why Air Canada Rouge has not taken steps to repatriate its customers, like Sunwing and Air Transat.

Mr. McKenna is therefore preparing to face Irma. The cyclone should reach the island that night after you left scenes of apocalyptic in its path.

“The building of the hotel is concrete so it should go and it is on the third floor, but there is the sea,” he says.

A room with a view on the beach is located 500m from the water.

“We went to the buffet to stock up this morning just in case”, he says.

Mr. McKenna hoped that the airport will go on to be able to go in Quebec on Saturday, as expected.

Air Canada had not returned the call log.
