An accident, is a death in the Chaudière-Appalaches

    A man in his fifties has died following a road exit occurred on Friday in the early afternoon, on the road Marcheterre, Ireland, in the region of Chaudière-Appalaches.

    According to the information provided by the Sûreté du Québec, the motorist reportedly lost control of her vehicle while taking a curve on the road Marcheterre, Ireland.

    It would have then made an exit from the road “to be found lifeless near his car”.

    “The driver died following the impact,” says Ann Mathieu, spokesperson for the SQ, by way of a press release.

    Ms. Mathieu has not been able to specify, for the moment, if other occupants were in the vehicle nor make assumptions about the circumstances surrounding this fatal accident.

    A “reconstructionist investigation and collision” is currently on the scene of the collision in order to determine the causes.
