SAGUENAY | An armed man has sown the excitement Thursday in the late afternoon, in the borough of Jonquière, in the Saguenay.

The individual was asleep in a garage behind a residence on the boulevard of the Kingdom.

He was in possession of a hunting rifle.

Twenty police officers were dispatched to the scene.

Quickly, a security perimeter was erected in the area and some homes were evacuated.

The public Safety officer of Saguenay have woke up the suspect, who eventually cooperated and did not resist his arrest.

Man of 36 years would be known in the policing community.

Charges could be filed against him Friday.
