MONTREAL – A man was arrested Tuesday night, after taking out a firearm inside a sports bar located on Jean-Talon street, in the borough of Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension in Montreal.
According to the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), the man would have pulled out a firearm, at around 22: 30, without for as much to use it, since it has been mastered by customers.
No one was injured.
Police officers quickly attended the scene.
“The suspect was possibly intoxicated or under the influence of substances at the time of the events,” said Raphael Bergeron, a spokesperson for the SPVM.
The man will be heard by the investigators during the course of the morning, and may face a variety of charges relating to firearms.
