Armed aggression in Pointe-aux-Trembles: a man seriously injured

    A man, aged twenty years, has sustained serious injuries after having been assaulted with a knife at the parc Achille-Fortier, located at the corner of René-Lévesque street and 36th Avenue in Pointe-aux-Trembles in Montreal, around 18: 30, Friday 7 July 2017.

    A man in his twenties has been seriously injured in an armed attack Friday in the early evening in a park in Montreal.

    The attack took place at around 18: 30 in the parc Achille-Fortier, near the intersection of René-Lévesque street and 36th avenue, in the sector of Pointe-aux-Trembles.

    Shortly after the event, the police Department of the City of Montreal has indicated that they feared for the life of the victim. His condition has, however, stabilised in the course of the evening and, at around 22: 30, the police stated that his life was no longer in danger.

    The man was injured at the bottom of the body using a weapon during a conflict with other people.

    No suspect has been arrested in relation to this event.
