Barriers to the movement: the sector, the Turcot interchange to avoid

    MONTREAL – Several building sites on the road network will force motorists to be patient throughout the weekend.

    The highway 720 will be closed eastbound (towards the city centre), between the Turcot interchange and the entrance to the streets of Notre-Dame and the Cathedral, in the Ville-Marie tunnel, from Friday 23: 59 pm until Monday, 5 h.

    Because of this, the straps from highway 15 south (Décarie) to highway 136 and highway 720 east, and highway 20 east to highway 136 and highway a-720 east, will be closed according to the same schedule. Motorists will take a detour via the access ramp to highway 15 south, exit 60 for autoroute 10 west, Duke street and highway a-720 east, or rue Saint-Antoine.

    The ramp from highway 15 south (Décarie) to highway 20 west will also be closed.

    Just as the ramp from highway 720 and highway 136 west to highway 20 west will be completely closed from Friday 23: 59 to Monday at 5 am. Note that the entrance to the rue Saint-Antoine ouest, at the height of the rue Rose-de-Lima will remain open.

    The access ramp to highway 15 north to highway 15 north (Decarie) will be completely closed according to the same schedule.

    Consequently, the output 64 (Sherbrooke street) will be inaccessible. A detour will be possible via exit 66 (chemin de la Côte-Saint-Luc).

    The entrance from Sherbrooke street to highway 15 north will be closed from Friday 22 p.m. to Saturday 9 p.m., and Sunday 23 p.m. to Monday, 5 h.

    New Champlain bridge

    Because of the work surrounding the construction of the new Champlain bridge, highway 15 north, exit 58 (highway 10 west, city centre) and the entrance of boulevard Gaétan-Laberge will be completely closed from Friday 23 p.m. to Monday, 5 h. The input from Nuns ‘ Island will be closed according to the same schedule.

    A detour is proposed via autoroute 10 west (Bonaventure), Duke street, Saint-Antoine street (east) and entrance to highway 720 west.

    Exit 61 (to Atwater) on highway 15 south will be closed from Friday 22 p.m. to Monday, 5 h.

    Just as the interstate 15 south, exit 60 (boulevard Gaétan-Laberge) and the entrance to highway 10, which will be closed from Friday, 23: 59 p.m. to Saturday 5 p.m., and Saturday, 23: 59 to Sunday, 5 h.
