For a third time, author, actress and former candidate for Option nationale’s Catherine Dorion wishes to stand for election in the riding of Taschereau, at Quebec, this time wearing the colours of Québec solidaire.

Catherine Dorion has indicated by way of a press release on Wednesday that it will launch its campaign of candidate for Québec solidaire in Taschereau Friday, February 2, at 19h, at the Ninkasi Saint-Jean.

The author of The struggles fruitful was the candidate for Option nationale in the riding in the last two general elections. She had obtained 7.4% of the vote in 2012, and 4.2% of the vote in 2014.

Remember that the riding of Taschereau is represented for 20 years by the pq’s Agnès Maltais. The latter announced in mid-January that she will not seek a new mandate in the next general election.
