Cogeco confirms that the internal investigation Parent began

The management of Cogeco Media confirmed that it had opened as early as Friday morning an internal investigation to shed light on the allegations on the host featuring Gilles Parent.

The director of Marketing, communications and promotions of Cogeco Media, Christine Dicaire, was confirmed in the late afternoon to the Newspaper that the process had already been initiated.

“As we indicated in our statement yesterday (Thursday), our internal investigation with the internal audit department has started already today (Friday). Everything will be managed by this department”, said Ms. Dicaire.

Because of this process, the management of Cogeco Media states that it will not be able to discuss in depth the Case of the Parent for the moment. “We will not be able to comment on them before the end of this survey, which should take a few days. We may be able to make further comments at this time”, said the director.

Questioned as to whether Gilles Parent had tendered his resignation or had raised this possibility, Christine Dicaire said it had no information in this sense.
