Gala : do You exhibit at the Galerie Sébastien Adrien, in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris, from 22 January until 3 march. Tell us the origin of this project…

Pepe Munoz : I was going to spend my last day in Paris with Celine and his team. This August morning, I woke up and I discovered an email from Sebastian, who proposed to me to explore collaboration. My summer with Celine, on stage and in the backstage of the fashion, had been a very intense experience. This invitation was the icing on the cake. When we met, Sebastian was wearing a leather jacket, pink and blue, very flashy, which gave him an air of David Bowie. I ordered an Aperol spritz. He took a coffee, as if he wanted to prove to me its serious. I listened, we laughed a lot. Quickly enough, I said to myself : “I want to work with this guy ! “(Laughs) (…)

Pepe Munoz : Absolutely. From July 2016, to tell the truth. When the team of Celine was proposed to me to accompany him on stage, I had already left Las Vegas and the Cirque du Soleil, I was already a ” young retired “. But I couldn’t pass up this opportunity. Let’s say that I am now an illustrator full-time, who does not dance more than Celine. (Smile) (…)

Pepe Munoz : Absolutely. As soon as she learned that I was drawing, Céline has never ceased to encourage me and help me publicise my work. It drew me in magical places… Thanks to her, I was able to meet great new people, great talent, with whom I am still in touch with. (…)
