A new study has shown that people who stand in the back of the queue satisfied 20% less than those for whom someone else

After observing the behavior of people standing in line at the grocery store, scientists conducted an experiment. They have created an online survey. Volunteers who agreed to take part in it, said that it takes only 5 minutes. In fact the survey only took a minute, but before that, the volunteers got in line. They could stay in their turn, stand in a nearby or leave.

Experts have established: one in five people that stood in line last, passed into the next turn. While there were, on average, had to wait 10% longer. People who changed the place twice, waited for 67% longer. The first 10 seconds were tough for the people that was at the end of the queue. Then they become the patient.

According to the researchers, the participants got up at the next turn just due to the fact that they did not like to be the last. Scientists advise to people who are at the end of the turn, distracted by a conversation with the person standing in front.
