The prime minister Philippe Couillard was conducted Wednesday morning in a major reshuffle of his cabinet in Quebec city, which included the young member of parliament for Ottawa André Fortin to the position of minister of Transport, but the main actors played the same role.

Among the newcomers, Mr. Couillard has also offered a seat of minister to Isabelle Melançon (Environment), Marie Montpetit (Culture) and Véronyque Tremblay (responsible for Transport).
Of the heavy weights of the government as Gaétan Barrette (Health), Carlos Leitao (Finance), Jean-Marc Fournier (government house Leader) and Martin Coiteux (public Safety and municipal Affairs), however, remain in place.
The prime minister of quebec has also given more visibility to Pierre Moreau who spends the treasury Board natural Resources, while Pierre Arcand, made the opposite journey.
Robert Poëti, who had been driven out of the ministry of Transport in January 2016, has seen his patience rewarded. He returned to the council of ministers, becoming a delegate to the integrity of public procurement, and information Resources, a new portfolio.
Laurent Lessard, who had been the subject of repeated criticism by the Transport, it loses this ministry, but remains the responsibility of Agriculture.
No fewer than 30 ministers, including 13 women, will serve on the council of ministers, compared to 25 in the last cabinet. This is not counting Nicole Ménard and Filomena Rotiroti, which occupy, respectively, the positions of chief government whip and caucus chair.
“Today, I present a strong, dynamic team that combines experience and youth,” said Mr. Couillard, by issuing a press release.
Rita de Santis, also on Tuesday, minister responsible for Access to information and the Reform of democratic institutions, is the only minister to be removed from the board.
