BROSSARD | A 21 year-old man was killed on highway 30 is, in the night from Wednesday to Thursday when the automobile in which he was in was struck by a semi-trailer, which then fled.
It is at km 67 that the collision occurred around 1 a.m. in the morning, reported the sergeant Stéphane Tremblay, the spokesman of the Sûreté du Québec. The impact took place a little after the overpass of highway 10.
One of the rear passengers of the car died in the collision, while the other three occupants were seriously injured, but we aren’t afraid for their lives.
The service road to the height of the highway 10 has been closed to traffic to allow investigators to reconstruct the scene. Highway 30 eastbound was also closed to traffic is now open.
White truck sought
The police were trying to locate the semi-trailer that fled the scene after the fatal collision.
At the end of the morning, the Sûreté du Québec has released a photo of the semi-trailer photo from a surveillance camera installed in the area.

The truck and trailer being sought are white. According to police, the trailer is equipped with the reflector on each side and the truck could be one of Volvo brand.
