Hochelaga-Maisonneuve: a man of 32 years old in a critical condition

    MONTREAL – A man 32 years of age has suffered significant head injuries Saturday evening when he was struck violently by a vehicle on Frontenac street, a little north of Sainte-Catherine street in the Hochelaga-Maisonneuve neighbourhood.

    According to the information collected on-site by the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal, the man would have appeared suddenly on the pavement after being passed between two parked vehicles. The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident would not have been able to avoid the pedestrian.

    The accident occurred at about 21: 30.

    The SPVM has stated that there are fears for the life of the injured.

    Investigators have been sent to determine the exact circumstances of this accident.

    Frontenac street has been closed between Ste-Catherine and De Maisonneuve to allow investigators to carry out their work.
