In the current 2018 will approach our planet 34 of the asteroid. This information was spread by astronomers, reports Rus.Media.

Astronomers from the center “Antistikhia” after conducting some research concluded that in 2018, at a very close distance from our planet will fly 34 asteroids, whose diameter will be about 100 meters.

Recall that last year near the Earth flew more than 700 asteroids of various sizes. The distance between the Earth and celestial bodies was less than ten million kilometers, which is rather small. Scientists have recorded all passed the Earth, the asteroids, and announced that about one hundred of them had a diameter of about 100 meters.

As you know, these asteroids not belonging to the group of large celestial bodies. In the largest asteroids are only those whose diameter is one thousand meters and more. We will remind that on Earth there are about 120 craters that were left after the fell cosmic bodies.
