In Syria, the Kurds repelled the militants largest oil field

Supported by the U.S.-led coalition troops, the Kurds were able to oust the militants in Syria from the territory of the largest deposits. At the moment it fully came under the control of the troops of the PKK.

 

The Western press claims that the Kurds have moved since the fighting in the province of Deir ez-Zor and as a result has able to capture the oil field al-Omar. Government troops from the field are three kilometers, and yet activity. It is known that the Kurds and the army cap is competing for control over the oil areas.

This is indicated not only in the press, but the government of Syria. In particular, this statement was made foreign Minister of Syria, Walid-muallim. The government, he said, will not allow violation of its sovereignty under any circumstances.

Also on this occasion spoke and Senator of the Federation Council Alexei Pushkov, who said that the race for control of oil fields in Syria will continue “fueling” this phenomenon forces in the US and at the moment they are preparing for the “main fight”.
